Day 1

This year I am taking the Holiday Card Workshop at onlinecardclasses.com. At first I didn't know what to expect and I am running a little behind with creating my cards, but that's ok. Today was day 2 of class, but I am updating my blog with a card inspired by the lessons of Day 1.

Day 1

I really loved playing with water and my Tim Holtz distress ink. I used Peacock Feathers in the tag.

Hope you like the card, can't wait to keep creating beautiful holiday cards and continue learning new techniques.

I am also adding this card to Challenge #51 over at Addicted to CAS

  1. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. I really love that embossing folder on your card. Is it Stampin Up? I have only been able to find the tiny dots and it doesn't make quite as nice a statement! LOL The wonderful thing about the online class is that you can do it at your own pace. Have fun!!

    1. Thanks for stopping by, the embossing folder is by Creative Expressions and I got it on Ellen Hutson's website.

  2. Your card did turn out to be beautiful! It goes to show you really don't need the same supplies the instructors use. They give us good ideas and we need to run with them! Keep up the great work! I haven't completed a single card yet. Hopefully that will change this afternoon.

    1. Thanks for stopping by Marianne....I want to create something tonight too, but I should be getting one of my shipments from SSS tomorrow so I can't wait till those things arrive. It was actually an order I placed before I had signed up for class.
