Day 5, the last day *sad face*

Happy Friday!!

I was so excited today was Friday....T.G.I.F! Mostly because one of my Simon Says Stamps shipments was supposed to arrive, but when I called my freight forwarder it seemed there was a delay in the freight shipment and now I have to wait a whole week again before I can get my goodies *frown* So tonight I had to make due with what I have in my stash for day 5 (our final day) of the online card classes holiday workshop 2014 *another frown* I swear the week flew by and there were so many helpful ideas, some I still really want to try out and practice.

Today it was all about tags! I was super happy that was today's topic. I am planning to make tags this year for my presents I will give to family and friends.
I decided to try a window tag tonight, it seemed to be the easiest thing to try and I was still bummed, since my tag dies were supposed to arrive today too. I made due with a free printout of tags I found on Pinterest.

Here is what the finished tag looks like:

  2. Hi Deb~ thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a sweet comment on my tags. Sparkle added to my day! Your tag here: pure delight; the window technique looks marvelous here! I sooooo hear your frustration about shipments not arriving when we hope they will. I live in Canada, and most of my orders take upwards of three weeks! You can imagine the pacing as I wait! Still, you've 'made do' wonderfully with what you've created! If you need more tag inspiration, head over to Loll's blog, where she's sharing 12 Days of Mixed Media tags, as well as inviting us to share ours. I'm hoping to get a couple into her challenge next week (visiting family this weekend); I'd love to see you there, too. Fingers crossed your order arrives early and surprises you!
